Carrie-Anne Moss

CarrieCarrie-Anne Moss (born August 21, 1967[1(born on August 21, 1967[1]) is a Canadian actress from Canada. After early roles on television and film, she gained international fame for her part of Trinity in The Matrix series (1999-present). She has appeared in Memento (2000) for which she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female. Red Planet (2000), Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006) for which she won the Genie Award for Best Performance by an actor in a supporting role, Disturbia (2007), Unthinkable (2010), Silent Hill: Revelation (2012) and Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) were among her television roles. Moss was a resident in Spain at the time, was offered the role as Tara Marshall who was the clerk to Judge Nicholas Marshall, in Dark Justice. This was her first time on TV. She relocated from Barcelona to Los Angeles with the series in 1992. Moss had to leave Dark Justice in the third and final season. She was replaced by Elisa Hingsohn as Samantha Collins. Following her return to the America, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Pasadena. She was a model, and also starred in Models Inc., a Fox primetime soap drama. The show ended in July of 1995. show was put on hold. Matrix was a brief-lived made in Canada series. [3] For most of the 1990s, she appeared in several television series such as Street Justice, Baywatch, F/X: The Series, and Due South, for which she was nominated for the Gemini Award for Best Guest actress in the Drama. A lot of her film roles in the decade were B films, including Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill (1994), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
