Lis Wiehl was born on August 19th, 1962. She was a former Fox News legal analyst.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning shows and is the host of the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's diploma of Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985), and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl served as the US attorney in the United States. She also worked as a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 through 2001. She ran their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
