Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the writer of many well-known American cookery books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which is on since 2002. Ina was employed at the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and also the budget. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually stopped her pursuit and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the business extremely profitable before selling it off and grabbing a pen to write her first book. Several other books and magazine articles followed. In the meantime the Food Network show was also successful. Her range of items spans from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina has never attended a cookery school nor was she employed at a restaurant. Her education is completely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her easy culinary style is widely known. Her most well-known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
