Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is known as a well-known American cook book author for many decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers in the White House. While she initially found the work interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. After more than 18 years of making her business a massive success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. There were many more cookbooks and magazine columnists that followed. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. Additionally, she sells items ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and tools. Ina has never attended a cookery school nor did she work in a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining as well as her simple cooking style is well-known. The most well-known recipes she has created are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
