Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American writer of cookbooks, who has been awarded Emmy award. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series premiered in 2002. It will continue to run for another 27 seasons. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and bought a tiny specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the business extremely profitable prior to selling it off and grabbing a pen to write her first cookbook. There were many other cookbooks and magazine columns were later published. In the meantime Her Food Network show was also successful. Furthermore, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, supplies and containers. Ina she never went to cooking school, nor did she employed in the restaurant industry. Ina is totally self-taught. Her casual approach to entertaining as well as her simple culinary style is well-known. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken that is skillet-roasted and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, The Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
