Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina began her career in writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. While she found it intellectually stimulating initially eventually she stopped her pursuit and decided to purchase a smaller boutique of specialty foods - Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the store a huge success, she sold it, and then began writing her first novel. There were other cookbooks to follow, as did magazine columns. In the meantime, the Food Network television show too made its debut and became very popular. Also, she offers a selection of products ranging from cooking supplies to storage containers, equipment and other kitchen items. Ina has never been to any cookery schools, or had a job in a restaurant. She can be taught by herself. Her casual approach to entertaining and her easy culinary style is well-known. Her most famous dishes are Lemon chicken that is skillet-roasted, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, The Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
