Ina Garten is an American chef and author and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. Even though she found the job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she stopped her pursuit and bought a tiny boutique of specialty foods - Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. her store very successful, before selling it off as well as grabbing the pen to begin writing her first cookbook. Several other books and magazines followed. In the meantime, she was also a part of the Food Network television show too made its debut and became popular. Additionally, she offers everything from cooking equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina never went to a cookery class nor did she employed in a restaurant. Ina is totally self-taught. Her name is ascribed to her straightforward approach to cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment.
