Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is well-known American chef and author of a cookery book. She is also the Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career by working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating after which she resigned and bought a small food specialty store named Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the shop a huge success she decided to sell it and started making her debut book. A number of other books and newspaper articles were published. Meanwhile, her Food Network show was also was a huge success. In addition, she sells everything from kitchen equipment to ingredients and containers. Ina is a self-taught cook who's never been to the cooking school nor been in a kitchen. Her casual approach to entertaining and her easy cook style are very well-known. Some of her most famous recipes include Skillet-Roasted, Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
