Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most acclaimed films. When she was in New York, she was born into an artistic family. She began as a photo assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
